My name’s David and I’m nineteen years old. I’ve been living in Kraków ever since I can remember. Maybe, because I was born here… I started my education from kindergarten, through 8 years of primary school and finishing with four years of high school. Picking a high school was the first, real and important decision in my life. Unfortunately, as I later realized – the decision was wrong. I picked a class with a mathematical-informatics profile. Till the 3rd grade, I was convinced of my good choice. Then the math started to be… how to say it… too hard? Or maybe I was too lazy… nevermind – the point is that I had to change the subject of my majority exam. It was too late to change the profile. And what else subject could it be than English language? The one that I’ve been thought since I were a little boy. The one that I never had problems with. As I planned I did. I passed the exam with an easy B mark (that is very good) and started to think what is my aim in life. What should I do? What am I good at? The answer was obvious – English language, and everything that’s connected to it. So I ended up here in KSW, on American Affairs (I think that’s the proper name for our study profile). I think this type of studies will come in handy in a very short time. Especially when I add the fact that I have an aunt in the United States, and hope to visit her sometime.
As for my private life, my hobbies, etcetera. My first and biggest passion is music. But not just any kind of music. I listen only to heavy, brutal, underground, demolishing metal music. The power it gives helps me to live with my life. Listening to those melodic riffs enables me to forget about the whole world just for a while; someone could say I even approach the famous nirvana status.
Besides music, I’m of course interested in women, in a very wide way. Unfortunately (or is it really?) I broke up with my girlfriend lately and now I’m single.
Next passion came to me not long ago, a year or so… But it struck me as a lightning and I can say that I am sick about it now. Football. I became an obsessive football fan. I’m a supporter of the best football club, here in Poland – Wisła Kraków. We’re the actual Champions of Poland. And this year we will repeat the success!!
What else could I add… maybe my affection to the internet. I can say that I’m addicted to it. I spend most of the time beside the computer, thanks to the stable connection installed in my house.
